XBC sometimes crashes, but it's still the most reliable method for me. I would say try it again.

Help Backing Up Dead Rising

First, I would like to thank everyone that put their 2 cents.

I was able to do a successfull backup of Dead Rising and PGR3.

This is what I did:

1) Updated the firmware of the Liteon burnner to the latest firmware

2) I made the burnner to be the primary master. Also found out that I did not have the drive connected to my motherboard using an 80 pin cable so I changed the cable to an 80 pin cable

3) Made sure the burnner is set to DMA in my BIOS

4) Removed MDaemon Tools from the computer.

5) Downloaded BookType135.EXE to set the booktype of the DVD-DL to DVD.

6) Used XBC 2.3 to backup and burn.

Thanks again to everyone.

I have been doing allot of reading on the forum and would love to help as much as I can. I also had some issues with upgrading my firmware on my M25 drive and was able to figure it out. I do not know if posting another "tutorial" would help.

Anyway, thanks for all the help. Now we need to get Homebrew code running on the 360 and I am all over that.
XBMC anyone?
