I've got my raw dump of Ghost Recon.  I got the ss.bin file using the OPA tutorial method (drive tools won't work - it grays out the "get security sector" button), and it's 2kb.  I also got a message at the end that said "ss dumped successfully with 10 challenges/responses.  Before I go further, are these issues normal?  And after this I use SS Merger then burn as an image, correct?
