Lba Value During Backup.....
« on: October 04, 2006, 05:39:00 AM »

hi all, i was comparing the LBA value between isobuster and xbox backup creator methods and noticed that the manual isobuster method needs me to input this value - 3567872 whereas the xbc method got no provision to input this and is defaulted to 3697696.

my question - is there a difference in those value during backup?  if there is, how come xbc cannot be adjusted.

2nd question - ( it is a repeat of my post earlier ) - when i input this value of 3567872 in isobuster, it prompts me a read error dialogue box and to replace errors with blank zeroes for sectors.  this really slow down the reading of the game disc.  but if i leave the LBA value to default (3697696) in isobuster, it reads rather fast.

can someone clear my doubts?  thanks.
