Pc Dvd-drives That Read X360 Discs?
« on: September 24, 2006, 06:45:00 PM »

My friend was telling me there were a couple of DVD drives out there capable of reading X360 discs and that the method for ripping was as easy as ripping an audio disc.  Any one have any insite on this?

Also the TS-H352C & the SD-M2012C.

My hat is off to you if you can find any of them.

Let me rephrase then...

They are very hard to find these days in every country EXCEPT for Australia.

In Australia, people like foaley buy them in bulk, and then resell them on eBay for 400% profit.  mad.gif

In the thread announcing v0.8 of kreon's firmware, the topic got a little sidetracked, and people were listing various online stores you could find the drive for. Be careful though, because many shops claim to sell that paticular drive, but will give you a different drive (wither a totaly different one, or sh-d162b instead of sh-d162c)

Europe aswell , not just australia. They are all over the place here (UK) , got one the other day for £14. Actually it seems like the only place they are hard to get hold of is in the USA.

Please don't rely on the "tools" somebody at eBay offers.  unsure.gif
