360 DVD = Samsung Ms28 w/Xtreme 3.3
PC Burner = Matshita/Panasonic DVD-R UJ-846 (Apple iMac core duo internal DVD writer)
App = CloneCD (No bitsetting needed, LayerBreak 1913760, speed 1x)
Media = Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL

Burned with CloneCD using Boot Camp. Works like a charm in slow & fast speed, and the drive even seems to make less noise and load faster in slow mode with the Verbatim media than with my other discs (TraxData).

BURNER: NEC ND-3550A
MEDIA: GQ (Fry's Brand) DL
CHIPSET: VIA 6421L(RAID-Newegg has the non raids on 3 weeks wait, i paid the extra 5 bucks) PCI SATA CARD
F/W: Xtreme 3.0
DVD Drive: TS1493 (was MS28, biggest pain in the ass to flash)

I didnt think the fry's brand would work with these games but it works perfectly fine.  No coasters yet.

I did have problems with the via card freezing up my computer everytime i'd turn on the computer and the 360.  Uninstalled the raid utility, once I did that.  I was able to see the drive in windows no problem

Used DVDINFO pro to extract .bin files.  Unlock code didn't work for dead rising but ISO buster detected the game data so I didn't have to worry about that.  Ripped and burned at 2.4x.

All works great.

I see everyone is using 3.3, any problems with it?  I'm thinking about flashing mine from 3.0 to 3.3

I think rather than having only what setup you got you should also include ALL configurations. People are having problems with identical parts is because their configuration is differnt. I know first hand because i was having tons of problems so I will be the first to share my configuration.

First the parts:

SH-D162C w/ kreon v.81
Pioneer DVR-111D
Programs I used XBC, and the iso builder method
Mobo: Gigabyte DS3 board, with only 1 IDE (very important)

Second is the configuration:
Initally what I did was use my Pioneer Burner and Hard DRive on the IDE cable. HD being master and Burner being slave. That burned games fine. No errors.

After, i decided to install my Sh-D162c drive in my pc so I took off the HD, put in a sata drive instead and put the samsung dvd rom as the IDE Master. -ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE AND MADE 5 COASTERS AFTER VARIOUS TESTS-

So what happened then,
I left the pioneer drive on the IDE cable, made the samsung SH-d162c as an external DVD ROM with an adapter and everything was okay again.

So in conclusion, if you are experiencing problems, my solution was this, the DVD-ROM and DVD writer has to have it's own IDE cable or connection, they cannot share one. or else you will get errors out the @$$.

This may not fix all the problems but should certain help some people.
