I have been having problems off and on.   Sometimes it works for CLONECD 5.3.0.1.  Sometimes it works for DVD Decrypter.  Has not worked yet for IMGBURN 2.2.0.0.  I have made 4 coasters so far and had a couple to work.  I am using Verbatim DL's burning at 2.4x.   The burner I am using is a Nec Brand model ND-3540A.   Sometimes I'll get the error at 20%-30% sometimes it's at 50-60%.  I have tried to burn one of my backed images using DVD Decrypter with an error in writing.  Then I tried using CLONECD for the same image and it burned through.  My question is there some sort of inconsistancy with my nec burner or a combination between that and my verbatim top of the line media?  Thanks ahead of time also all my layerbreaks are set appropiately. ohmy.gif

Here's my setup. It was really easy and well worth spending the extra $$.

Pioneer 112d Burner
Pre-flashed Kreon drive from ebay
X360 USB with Connectivity Kit v2
Verbatim DVD+R DL from OfficeMax 10 pack for $14.99
Burn @ 2.4x
Xbox Backup Creator used for reading and writing
Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth_Rev2

I used the USB Kit and it put my Hitachi into driveb for me and it was easy to flash from there. It brought up the drive in windows xp without a problem.
The Pioneer 112d worked awesome with Xbox Backup Creator. Didn't need to change any settings and it read and wrote to dvd without any problems. It also worked straight out of the box, no downloading needed.
Tested 2 backups so far and they play great. I didn't have to do the rubberband trick or anything.

hi to all the forum, first post here!
I just buyed my soft modded 360 with hitachi drive; don't know the firmware rev. nor the sofmod type dry.gif
i read all the usefull stuff of the forum (really usefull tutorials  tongue.gif ) and then did my first attempts with
burner: Pioneer 111D fw 1.29  love.gif
software: xbox backup creator (current release) + image burn (current release)

1)
game: gears of war
media: kodak (ricohjpn d01)
writing speed: 2.4X (the only one supported by pio111D for this media)
works fine, even startin' game from dashboard; no start trick required!

2)
game: test drive unlimited
media: verbatim  cool.gif
writing speed: 2.4X
works fine, even startin' game from dashboard; no start trick required!

3)
game: motogp 06
media: verbatim cool.gif
writing speed 8X
works fine, even startin' game from dashboard; no start trick required!

More tests soon, but verbatim rulez! Cheap and reliable, if you can find them!
