Plextor+verbatim+samsung?

Almost sounds more like an overheating issue.  Have you tried doing the same thing with an original disc?

Well it sure aint overheating

After several hours i could easily change origina discs with no problem!

Any ideas?
Pot tweaking is my only option?

Well I just bought a pioneer 111d recorder,burned a backup to a verbatim +r dl disc and played for 45 minutes or so

I then restarted my xbox360 AND MY PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS!!
UNBELIEVABLE!

My only hope is pot tweaking,which ain't a good idea after all.....

Any,I repeat,any help would be greatly appreciated!

pot tweak is fairly easy to do , you just need to understand what you are doing ,

you should do that and replace the goo with some better thermal compound under the heatsinks ,

you could also seal the gap between the shroud and the cpu heatsink with some electrical tape or something for better air path through the cpu heatsink

Yes it is easy,I understand that
But how safe could it be?

I will pot tweak my drive if i have no other option left..

The pot was my problem after all!

I opened up(again!) my 360 and measured my pot. It was 4,2 kΩ !(quite high indeed)

Since the normal values are between 4,2 and 3,4 kΩ , I've adjusted my pot to a quite normal value , which is 3,52 kΩ

Now everything plays nice and smooth even after 2+ hours of gaming!

I'd like ,once more, to thank you all , for your help!
