Uh, you talking XBOX 1 backups or 360 backups?   Which tools are you using to build/make the image?  What burning software?  What firmware revision?  What media?  We need a hell of alot more info in order to narrow this down.

Did you set the booktype to DVD-ROM before burning?  Have you tried Image Burn?  (It's by the same author as DVD Decrypter but it has a more up to date burn engine).  If all else fails you can always update to the riplock removal firmware which is pretty stable and if nothing else will boost the hell out of your ripping speed for other applications.
