truthfully... every type of disc i use works, ive tried memorex, the cheapest of the cheap HP's and verbatims, all of them work the same, i turthfully think its about how u burn the game, make sureu set booktypes and all that, i even burn the games in 25 minutes at the highest speed and the work perfectly, this lite on burner is really good i wud suggest and one have a liteon burner just for burning 360 games

The thing is that the 111D is also high on the list for 360 compatibility.  @the original post which speed are you burning these discs at?  Also, have you tried Image Burn and/or DVD Decrypter?
