Just thought I would share, the office depot brand are 25pk for $34.99.
Office Depot also has 6pk verbatims for $5.99.
Best Buy has 50pk memorex for $79 bucks.
Not too bad.

The only one on that list that is really a good deal is the 6 for $6 Verbatim (if it is indeed D/L media). Office Depot can be any one of the following manufacturers: CMC Mag, Ricoh, or Ritek. The first two aren't bad per se but they definitely don't measure up to the MKM001 and MKM003 Verbatim D/L DVD+R discs. The Memorex are a waste of money at that price as they are Ritek D01 which is so hit and miss as is that I wouldn't even attempt it on something as finicky as an XBOX 360 drive. To say nothing of the fact that the pricetag is a rip off. Newegg currently has 20 packs of Verbatim D/L DVD+R for $34 shipped which is pretty comparable to the non Verbatim deals as is. In ADDITION there is a $10 MIR so you can get the 20 pack for $24 shipped AR.
The breakdown is as follows:
Verbatim D/L DVD+R from newegg before the rebate=$1.70 a disc
Memorex D/L DVD+R (Ritek) from BB=$1.58 a disc+tax
Office Depot D/L DVD+R (one of 3 manufacturers with varrying quality standards)=$1.40 a disc+tax
Now the Verbatim D/L DVD+R from Newegg After Rebate=$1.20 a disc.
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817130013In strict terms of cost per disc the 6 for $6+tax is the best deal of any of these but the others are just way too close to the cost of large quantity Verbatim to even bother with. Yes, I know people have gotten them working but given the longevity studies on these other D/L media manufacturers, you might think twice before buying.
Once again, not necessarily coming down on you for posting these, just making people aware that they really aren't saving anything over top quality D/L media and the risks of going with these cheaper quality manufacturers. Nice find on those Verbs though.
