Unfortunately you havent given enough info to pin point the problem, but if I was to say, then I'd be suspicious of either the ss.bin file you downloaded or the media you are using. As painful as it maybe, until an updated firmware comes out for the SH-D162C, use your 360's Sammy to extract the security sectors using Drive Tools v1.04, and dont forget to set the bitsetting to DVD-ROM (very important for the Sammies).

Also, your setting the SH-D162C to unlock state 1 before you rip too right ?

Like I said - the devil is in the details.

Use known constants - A proven ripping method, Extract own SS.bin with Drive Tools, Use a Pioneer 111d with Verbatim media (whenever possible) or burner that is on the compatability list. Its all here in the forums people.

Its all about the process of elimination and consistently using methods that work for you.
