Can´t Use Dvd In Xbmc

ok i dont have a orignal xbox drive and its not hacked so my xbox will not autodetect the cd type. The yellow wire give me issues (divx stopt after 2 mins ects...) when the cable was connected so it out now. only a pc dvd and flat cable are connected to the x and power to but that speaks for its self.

i have no problems in media player but i find it stupid to switch to media player to center just for playing cds. so is there away to turn it of and just say read d: dont care what you think just read it. (media centrer is saying open drive)

i removed all the  !--> things and tryed it but nothing worked so i replaced

     <path>DVD://</path>
   </bookmark>

only gave my a icon like for a network map
so can anyone help me
i don´t know what to do next.

sorry for dubble post but IE gave my a error so i pressed back and send again but it was already posted i din´t know i my be data loss but i am sorry for the dubble post.

i already made a post of the same and yeah it does suck to switch back and forth.

i get the icon's no prob but it won't display anything on the discs i put in yet the same discs work fine in xbmp
