Not necessarily...sometimes you can inject the wrong key and it will still work with originals...Not unless if you tried it with another backup other than dead Rising.

be sure to hexedit manually from 4000 to 4200 and copy and paste it to xtrmebin....

if your not using verbatims, then that could be the problem, because once your org. game splay then your drive is 100% ready to go

I couldn't even use the 0800 disk until I tweaked my POT on the samsung drive.
After that, it works great. Beforehand, I thought it was my PC or Burner, wasted 5 verbatims on that thing thinking i didn't burn it correctly, ended up they all work fine now with my tweaked POT.
