if you have tweaked your hitachi laser pot ,

please post your results ,

list the:
-rom version of the drive
-original pot settings
-final setting
-media that hasnt worked which now works ,

to start this of
-i have the 47dj
-original pot setting 3.58
-tweaked setting 3.39
-none, tweaking still in progress

i left mine at 3.39 as it reads the burned ritek d1 001 without any difficulties ,

and i fugured , if it can read ritek well , it will most likely read everything else well at this pot setting

Samsung ms25:

- 3.68 KOhm

after tweaking: 3,27KOhm

Can anybody tell me if it is normal that outside the drive you could see
2 red laser points after switching on?
I have had never recognize this before the tweak.

What´s about CD Pot? Which Resistance Settings is good?
