Nec Nd-3530a Buner

Hi,

Has anyone used this DVD DL Burner to Make Backup games for the 360? I'm having a few problems and not sure if its the drive.

Also just made a backup and I get this error messange when try to load from the backup.

"To Play this disc, put it in an xbox 360 console"?

Can anyone shead anylight? Its a Hitachi LG Drive 47D Modded and It played Originals fine.

nec are very good burners , just depends on the media that you are using ,


try different firmwares

i tried a few alt firmware's for the drive to get bitsetting support.  Actually, it was the Dell branded NEC drive from a Dell tower.  Most of the backups from it don't work, and the ones that do make all kinds of weird clicking sounds from the laser and half the time don't read.  Was using verb. blanks burned at 2.4x and even 1x.  Eventually switched over to another burner, a Memorex something or other and everyone has worked like a dream, no noise, boot everytime, so I'm not putting too much into the NEC burner at this moment.  Could try other firmwares and stuff, but I already made like 10 DL coasters and that's enough for me.

i have a nec 3520 ,  

none of the backups have worked on the 360 ,


i bought the pioner 111d and i recommend doing the same ,


paid $32 shipped from newegg ,


this is a very very good burner for making 360 backups ,

all my backups work with the 111d

agreed... excellent burner... it makes its way into 99% of backup problem threads as a solution.
