From what I understand, yes. That is unless you get the proper samsung drive with the Kreon firmware flashed on it. The problem is the Kreon firmware is not yet fully functional.

Same thing as yours, but easier to get to because it's just behind the faceplate.

yes and no... i think taking off the hdd is easier than taking off the faceplate... it is a lot cleaner tho
