Just bought myself a Samsung SH-162C (£9 GBP) and Pioneer 111D (£20 GBP)  

Flashed them both with Kreon for Samsung and v1.23 for Pioneer

Anyway, I need to backup my games as my kids keep scratching them.

I followed the tutorials for DVDInfo Pro and ISO Buster to successfully create an image.

I have UK PAL versions of the games btw.

The image creates fine, but when I use SSmerge 1.6, it detects my games but none of the Security Sectors I have match. The only one I could get to match was when it said Italian version!

Wondering why this is.  The SS I have are for PAL.  Could it be that the SS are different for each country in Europe?

From the release notes, Kreon says you can easily detect and decrypt the correct SS version from your original DVD to ensure you get a match.  (on the Samsung SH-162C drive) How can you do this?  I can't find anywhere that shows how it's done?

well.. if you extract the ss yourself, you should be fine merging it.

if you are not getting the ss from your retail disk, then this is not to be discussed on the forums, and will have to be closed.

Yes of course.

Fingers crossed Kreon can release a version that will extract the firmware first to save me from keep opening my box up.
