if I new how to edit programs it would be easy. Included in the schtrom 360 extract program is the source code, all that needs to be done is bypass the part that unlocks the drive

I know.. If someone could please tell me how to compile the source code to bypass the extract part then it would work for all of us that dont need to unlock our drives.

well add me to the club of getting stuck at 3% but sometims if i'm lucky it gets stuck at 9%! Man, this program would be great if i (and the rest of us)got it to work.

everyone saying its the unlocking feature in the program thats causing the problem. Is the solution to turn it off, or just unlocking the drive (thats what I do mini dvdinfo for Isobuster.) If i manually unlocked the drive 1st using the mini dvd info pro, think that will help?

i flashed my sammie with v2 firmware and as of to day back up all my games 9 up to now
did just as instructed in info

am using sis661fx chipset

not had one fail

well this tool is great for Pot Heads! Remembering all the number of steps to backup a game could be easily forgotten if you took a nice little bong load!

Anyhow, I finally got this thing to work for me... well it got to 100% and said the image is ready to burnt usiing clone CD....

Only problem is my Image file it created is only 4,494,854 KB (under 5 gigs!)

Is this normal for this program... I'm almost positive i;ll get another damn coaster if I burn this file.

Well what game did you back up? Not every game takes up the full disc. For instance, I believe the Table Tennis backup only took like 2 GB... IIRC

Anyway, the problem I've been having is the program hangs at random points in the backup process. Every now and then I can get it to complete the process successfully, but most of the time it just totally hangs anywhere between 3% and 50%. Not sure what is going on.

Hi, this is the first time I try to back up a game. I used Schtrom360 program all when well and then burnt a copy with the Bitsetting / Booktype set up. Put the DVD it in my Xbox360 with the Extreme Firmware (TSSTcorp DVD-ROM TS-H943A). The Xbox reads it fine and it loads then I get a screen showing up quoting" This disc is unreadable. It may be wrong region for this console". I Backed up an original game that works on my xbox360 (Perfect Dark Zero) but it still plays originals with that firmware. Well I failed some where but I don't know where? Dose any one have an Idea where I could of failed. Maybe Bitsetting / Booktype, Extracting the game or Firmware?

I used this program yesturday to backup 4 of my games, (NFS:Most wanted, Full Auto, Tomb Raider and Project Gotham). 3 of them worked fine, but I get a dirty disk error with tomb raider. Maybe it was a bad burn ..

well I think this program has a little bug ..

yesturday, after my bad copy of Tomb Raider, I re-backuped it (with this program and the old way with DVDinfopro.)

today, I burned the Schtrom360Xtract copy and same thing ... bag disk .. I burned the DVDinfopro copy and it worked ..

I never had a coaster with the old way but I had 3 with this program (3 out of 7 dvd). So I'm not using this program anymore

it was with v1 .. maybe it was fixed with v2 !
