Different Strategies For Backups

So with all the options my head spun around a bit. So are the firmwares designed for extracting the ss purely designed for that? You use the extraction firmware and wxripper, in preferably a pioneer 111d. The other method is to use that samsung drive, which extracts ss so you don't need to switch betweeen firmware.
