Answered your own question.  The hitachi only likes the Pioneer 111d burner right now.

edit: ....and stop downloading games...or at least making it so obvious that you do.

I have both the Pioneer 111d and Lite-On 1633 which burn perfect backups so you don't buy Pioneer only. Most people have success with the 111d but Lite-Ons are good as well.
