you got your IDE channel the burner is on set to DMA if available?

some more info is required really m8.

1) What version of cloneCD are you using? the latest and recommended is v5.2.9.1

2) When you insert the blank verbatim DL, what media code is displayed by cloneCD? MKM001 or MKM001-00 should be fine.

Also, your burner may be defective, or your system has some serious resource issues due to background processes/spyware etc.
