Dvd Copy Of A Backup...possible?

I have made a successful backup of my original Call Of Duty II with the proper SS....and it boots.  

Now if I want to make another copy of the DVD, can I just make an image of my backup using CloneCD and burn that again or do I have to go through the process of extracting SS all over again and patch?
