Unrecognized media is often a result of a bad SS Patch. As for your PC is normal to show the copys empty.
Try dumping your originals again and patch them corectly

how do i set bitsetting?
isnt pioneer has autobitesetting?
i try to use the dvdinfo to set it and it say pioneer do not support bitesetting.

I have the same NEC burner as you do. Can you do me(and others that have the same burner) Once you get a backup to work, can you please re burn that same image to the same disc, same speed, but with the NEC burner and then check if that copy works?
Im really curious to see wether its the burner itself thats not working for me, or the type of media im using (same Memorex as you are btw...)

the best thing to do is search cdfreaks.com and cdinfo.com for firmware update or new released hacked firmware for supporting bitesetting

i tried 10 dvd+r on my lg .. and all of them gave me unrecognized disk error .....

so i got my friend liteon and patched it with a new hacked firmware ,, and it has a program thats locks the dvd+r wrighting to dvd-rom .. worked from the first copy .. and every copy untill now..

wierd i have a 111d and it won't read shit...hahahahahahahahahaha....what is wrong with it ahahahahahahahaha it's suppposed to solve so many problems ahahahahahaha....what's wrong with it hahahahahahahahaha
