Backing Up My Xbox 360 Games

just bought a 360. i would like to no if im able to use my sony dvd burner to backup my 360 games?? or i need a pioneer drive??

Almost any DVD burner will work.
Yours will be fine.

Most any will backup, but must be dual-layer to burn.

thanks for the fast replies.. im having trouble using my sony burner to back up my original games.. im getting error message data@reductant.. what am i doing wrong??

read links in FAQs...
read Gebees link in my sig, it tells you how to change the first three lines in wxrippers files so it skips or dummies the video partition.


my sony dvd burner had issues backing up games, DRU-510a , so i just use the 0800 firmware.. its alot easier.
