you do have to have an ss on a xbox 1 backup for the 360
and it can be burned on single layers disc
read the faqs...... also the readme that came with the firmware helps too

just backup the xbox 1 games like the 360 games except change the extract from/to value...

also you must use a 360 drive to get the ss not an xbox 1 drive

actually I have been reading that you have to burn the game on a dual layer disc still for the original xbox game since the firmware only has compatibility to read dual layer discs, so i think your wrong on that one...
