anything like this?

i have the same thing you describe with the discs and so do a few other people.
i found that burning the discs at a higher speed makes them more compatible, after burning 30+ discs at 6x not one failed too boot, or had a line on it, previous 10 all had lines all failed to boot.

what burner and software,discs do you use now ??
and do you use the same game images that failed with the ring ??

same burner same software same discs

firmware hacked so it allows 8x,
same game images, tested at 2.4x and then at 6x
2.4x failed again, 6x works.

what hacked firmware `?? link if possible??
i use the lates from pioneer,if i use the hacked one,can i overwrite with the normal one again ?
but why the hacked one,111d is writing 8x speed with normal firmware i belive!
are the disks you use for 6x speed or 8x because i only find 2,4x,4x and 8x here in germany.
ridisc xtreme is ritek i guess??
did you also tried with faster verbatim discs??

try using 1.23 firmware, everyone has sucess with that firmware

if i have a 2,4x speed dl so whats the use of burn it on max cause i think 2,4should be max and therefore no difference of choosing 2,4 or max speed ??!

too all with a strange ring on the disc :-)

burn your 2,4 verbs at MAX speed and you get 100% working copys in under 20 minutes :-))
