i checked out the office depot(canada) website i only saw memorex dl's. Do only the US stores have them?

I rarely see them online, but they have them in their physical stores. I haven't tried their DL media, but their DVD-5's are great. Just ugly.

I bought the 25 pack of OD DL a few days ago - they are Ritek. Burnt 5 discs and all work fine in my Sammy.

yeah i would like to know if these mugz work on an hitachi with a pioneer burner if so..its time for a trip to the store

I bought those disk (Office Depot Riteks) but didnt work on my Hitachi, only disks that i can get to work are CMC's from walmart (HP Brand 3 pack for 10 bucks) but they boot right up with no tricks.

damn that sucks..cuz i just bought those discs yesterday..25 bucks for 25...and i was gonna give this whole mod a shot today...i guess if they dont work..with or without the softboots..then i'll hold off on the modding for now...anyone else try these?

also..does ne one here know if the the samsung dvd burner that comes with the inspiron 6000 automatically set book-type to dvd-rom..i heard this was the case...can anyone confirm this?

The 25 for $25, is that @ Office Depot? If so, did you have to go to the store to get that deal? Im looking on their site & all i see is Memorex 3pk for $15

i have a 111d and i'm very curious as to see if the OD DLs work, but the store doesn't have them.

I can confirm these do work on my Samsung. Burned @ 2.4x, Pioneer 110D 1.37 origional fw, CloneCD. I haven't hooked my Hitachi up since i got the Sammy, so sorry i can't help you guys out in that dept.

Thanks a mil to the people who pointed out this awesome sale. Either way you look at it, these are Ritek discs, just branded Office Depot. I threw it through DVDInfo Pro just make sure. Hope someone helps ya guys out with the Hitachi.

if the office depot brand dl media is a generic ritek disk, then i am curious to see what type the Playo discs are....can anyone run dvdinfopro on one of these and see never know they could be the same type as verbatim i doubt it but hey for a buck per its worth lookin at....i would do this myself if i had one on hand but all i got is office depot which do not work with hitachi, looks like im giving them to my buddy with the samsung drive, oh well its worth it cause i do have to use his drive to get my ss.bin anyway...this way he wont complain as much (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
