from what i heard yes you have to burn xbox games on dvd+r dl also. I think you can use wxripper.

can u copy the game with a regular dvd burner or do i have to open my 360 again and use the 360 drive

Like I keep saying, good luck.  I can't get my 360 to extract the SS or to unlock the drive.  The SS that I did extract is wrong (compared to a confirmed valid SS) and I can't make my own backups of Xbox 1 games with the 360 drive because it's not unlocking to see the raw game data.  If you get this, you would probably be the first person to do so, and I would love to hear how you do it.  I tried the same thing and just ran into problems and no help.
