Cannot Record In Xbmc

Ok I've searched and searched and searched but it seems no one is having the same problem I am.

Running xbmc 03-09-04

I got it installed no problem I edited the xml file no problem but why won't it allow me to record off a regular ol' music cd?  Is there some other program I need for that to work or have I missed something in the xml file?  Perhaps some other file?  Any ideas or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I've used it to record shoutcast streams.. I'm not sure if its SUPPOSED to be able record audio CD's

yeah wont record cds but there is meant to be a cvs in the pipeline that does properly rip cds
