after you set the layerbreak at 1913760,
when you choose the file you must take the .iso or .000 file not the .dvd file.

no 100% promise it will resolve it. It did for some people.

Im not so sure you need to take the .iso or .000 file.  I noticed that when i took the .dvd file before it would use the layerbreak information stored in that file.  I then added the user configuration of a layer break in Imgburn's options, and no matter if i use the .dvd file or not, in the log you will see a line saying it is using the user's specified layer break that you entered in the options.

@dbldown768,
agreed it should not make a difference.
For strange reason, for some people it seems to work better like that.
Not that I know why uhh.gif

in the original post of vince_V in step 4 when he choose the file to burn, he says to take the .000 file.

in fact depending on how you extracted the file you will have a .dvd file and
either a  .000 file  or a .iso file.

select the .iso or the .000 depending of which you have.
HOw was it extracted anyway, we can tell which file you will have from that.

Plse take the time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) to explorer the pinned section at the top of the forum .

I will also direct you to the following sections.
You will find a very good overview document here

Firmware and flashing your firmware is here ( look at the Releases, Tuturial And Guides at the top and read a lot).

Doing backup of your games in this section Backup Faq - Everything* You Need To Know PLEASE READ BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS! (again the read all you can in Back Up Faq at the top)

Also look at the newbie section for most of the questions we all have when we begin (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif).

Yes the pioneer can be used for wxripper, but you still need to connect your X360 drive to your PC to extract the ss.bin.

Looks pretty good,
1) which x360drive model /FW (Is the firmware recent)?

2) Could be  that your x360 drive does not see the ss and that it is image related.

How have you done the backup?
-for ss.bin which software & drive
-for game.iso which software & drive
-how was it merged

3) Look at the Rules on signatures (4 lines max plse correct it)

Hello, I have the latest version 2.2 and there is an option to finalize disc. As this option is in the tutorial I'm not sure whther its meant to be checked. Should I just leave it the way it is (checked)?

I'm having a problem in IMGburn, I'm using a Write-master m182D DVD drive and Richoh dual layer discs... I burnt a couple discs without changing the layer break option and ended up with coasters.... After i changed the layer break sectors in L0 to 1913760 as per the guide i get this horrible error msg when i try to burn

Device IO Control (FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed!
Device: [0:1:0] TsstCorp CD/DVDW SH-S182D SBO4 (E:) (ATA)

Unable To lock Volume for exclusive Access

Reason: Access Denied

Whats that about? please help me out i been tryin to test my newly modded 360 w/ this backup all day

If it makes any difference the backup is in .iso format e.g. backup.iso

What is wrong.. I tried to burn backup of my xbox360 game Call of Duty 3. I did everthing just like the first post of this topic except I have ImgBurn 2.2.

I tried two different media. Maxell DVD+R DL and RiDisc DVD+R DL BitSetting to DVD-ROM at ImgBurn settings.

My burner is LG GSA-4167B with latest official DL13 firmware

Burn process was 100% succesfull, but when I put newly burned DVD on my console, there was error message on tv "Disc not regognised".. same error with both media..

My little brother have a much older DVD-DL burner.. Maybe the first burners ever.. Some model of Liteon Burner.. He got working buckup with that burner on the same Maxell DL media which I tried to burn with my LG burner with no luck.

So what did I do wrong..?
