ImageBurn v2.0.0.0 now recognizes the LayerBreak option in the .DVD file.  The Layer Break (For DL Media) can be put back to Calculate Optimal.  Woohoo!   biggrin.gif

Q: Is IMGburn good for burning Stealth backups correctly, with all the extra data?   As C4EVA only specified clonecd in the nfo (which doesn't work properly for me....).

Are you trying burn with DVD-R Media? You need burn with a DVD+R DL media.

Good luck!

There's now a new imgburn 2.0.0 out.

This version supposedly fixed the problem with burning blanked out images.
(the xtreme ones)

Gonna give it a try.

Just a doubt about these blank padded images. I'm using the clonecd to burn my games and all the games that are blank images are very difficult to be reconized by the console (hitachi 47d). Once the game runs , everything works fine. The other images (with the vob files) are reconized much easier. Does this thing happens to you too ? Thanks in advance.

Anyone have an idea why I might be getting the message "Device Not Ready (Incompatible Medium Installed)

I have no idea what it could be because I am using Verbatim DVD+R DLs

Thanks for the tut.

Haven't tried it yet, but two questions:

1. When you say enter the value "1913760" - is that what I should enter? Or is it different for each person? I think it's the same for everyone, but just checking.

2. Do I need to change the booktype setting to DVD-ROM? If so, where can I change it? (in IMGburn). Is it necessary?

THANKS!

Read the rest of the thread...

You still have to change the bitsetting. You can change it in ImgBurn by clicking the little book icon in the corner of the main window.

Ok, I got DVDinfoPro and when I go to change booktype it says "it looks like your burner doesn't support it".

However, my Burner is a HP 840 and I read:

BookType (Bitsetting):

The HP dvd840 supports Bitsetting, and the writer will by default write DVD+R/RW/R DL media with the BookType - DVD-ROM.

So, do you think I'm ok here?
