Sorry for the bump guys, but I have a question and I searched the forums and this came up as one of the responses, but it didn't really address my question.  I have the mech save on a memory card cause I was thinking of doing a softmod.  Well I've decided on either an exectuer 3 or 2.6 instead now but I wan't a bigger hdd also.  The thing is, when I go into hacked gamesave thing, you know it has the option of backing up and such, well I tried it and it doesn't backup anything.  It doesn't give me the files containing the hd key and stuff.  I want to put in a bigger hdd, but how do I get that data now?  Is the reason its not backing that stuff up because I don't have evox or anything installed yet?  Will I be able to do that when I get my chip?

once you chip you will be able to ftp into your box using an evox or slayers boot cd (or other dash boot cd).  You will then be able to back up all necessary files.
