Video Cuts Out For A Second, Then On Again

I recently purchased a used 360. The kid had replaced the laser because it had open tray error, but never has this console had a RROD/E74. Anyway, its been working fine, but every now and then as Im playing Call of Duty, the video will cut out for a second (and audio, running through components), then its on again and everything is okay. Happens maybe once every time I play the game (for an hour or so), maybe twice. Is this a common problem? I will try and switch to HDMI to see if it helps.
