Maybe your not heatgunning correctly. Make sure everything is insulated properly and use the heatgun on low setting for 1 minute in general circles around the board, then 4 minutes on high. Make sure its four minutes as i know the tutorials around here say 3. Also please try and do a good job insulating. Youll be happy you spent more time on it.

And if you can you should follow up with the hybrid x-clamp as that will hold the fix.

I've been having the same problem with one of my xbox's. Still can't get it to work. I don't know where to get this plastic foil, but if I can find it, I will try to heat gun the board. So far, I've done the hybrid fix, (worked for 2 days) heat gunned the top and bottom of the GPU/Hana (only one minute) and applied lawdawg's fix, worked for a week, and now i'm stuck.

If anyone knows where I can find the plastic foil like they used in the hybird fix, it would be much appreciated.

Nope.
