My xbox 360 just randomly started having discoloration issues and then a few hours later when I turned it on again wouldn't display an image at all. My TV read "invalid input" but I do get sound through it. Any ideas on what's wrong and how I can fix it?

Thanks

The thing is there are no "red rings" and it can still sense controllers and everything. Can the RROD occur without the rings actually lighting up?
