So I was playing Halo 3 for a few hours tonight on my vx2260wm monitor and when I entered a game, the screen went white (i.e. white vertical bars layered the screen) but I could still see the death screen showing the score and players in the game and the colors were fine on that.  I could also see the yellow and red dots on the radar and when a guy was in front of my reticle, I could see his name in Red and my reticle in red.  Also, when the screen went black after the game it looked like matrix on my screen with all green stationary lines on the screen.  When I went back into the dashboard all the menu items were split into black dots and missing picture where those white lines were probably present.

I then changed my resolution settings, restarted my monitor and console, changed settings on my monitor, and mixed and matched all of the above but nothing worked.  After restarting the box, the colors returned to normal but when I joined a custom game, it turned white.  Then I unplugged the VGA cables and put in my AV cables for the SD TV, restarted the box and the colors were fine, got into a game and the white screen came back.

Has anyone seen this before?  Could it be a overheating problem?  I just got my whisper fans in and was planning on putting those in this week.. hopefully i wasn't too late.

Also, when I go into a menu item like Console Settings, the settings menu is crystal clear without a problem.
