yes the image is stretched but its still retaining the correct aspect ratio. normally, in 16:10 monitor we only have 2 option. display with black border (with correct AR), display fullscreen (with stretched image).
this "workaround" will allow us to display image in fullscreen with correct aspect ratio.
and for many games i have played, the left/right cutout is not noticable and i now can play games with fullscreen, no black border -> i got bigger picture (full 19" panel)
and buying 16:9 monitor is not an solution. we buy LCD monitor because its cheap. so buying a new 16:9 LCD while we already have 16:10 LCD monitor is really not an solution... (atleast for me, my savings already gone to 16:10 LCD Monitor a few months ago)
