Help! Screen Artifacts But No Rrod

My console is having checkered artifacts only in some areas of the screen. Game play is still possible with no freezing or RROD. I have already tried re-flowing the GPU area but still the same (hoping it was a GPU problem). Is it the RAM chips that needs re-flowing as I have a re-flow heat gun?

Mine is only a few checkerboard patches (1") in the middle. Not quite as bad as the one in the URL.

It doesnt matter the ammount, its the same problem, 1 artifact and locking up is the same thing, Sometimes you get no artifacts at all and it just locks up. Try running the RROD fix that you tried again, make sure that you tighten screws after you heat up(if your using the overheating fix/thermal replacement) And if your using the heat gun to make sure let the board lay flat, If ur using the memory RROD fix, Make sure screws are tight
