Burned My Hdmi Port?

Hi,

I was using my Elite with Samsung 226BW 22" monitor via a DVI->HDMI cable. After a few days of plugging/unplugging the cable the HDMI port stopped working. It could have happened because of static charge or because the equipment (xbox and monitor) were ON when I was playing with the cable.

Do XBOX HDMI port schematics exist? Maybe the port has a fuse that burns when someone tries to connect cables leaving the equipment ON?
