if your warrenty is still intackt and still under coverage send it in or else get a 3rrod fix i think that might fix it ive heard similar probs in the end its best to prob get a new one by sending it in to M$ unless your out of a warrenty and dont mind working on the console yourself.

i too have an issue with my $500, 1yr old, xBox Elite. the audio plays just fine. however, i get no video output. apparently, what's happening to your box is a precursor to my problem. mine just took a dump with no warning at all.

i called M$, they said they'd charge me, i told them their insane and that i just paid $500 a year ago for this thing, and they didn't give a shit. if you Google: "no video output 360" or visit this page, you'll find numerous complaints about this very same issue.

you're one of the lucky ones who caught it before your box was out of warranty. Microsoft really needs to get on the ball with this one. imagine how many people out there with the same problem and yet they AREN'T making note of it on these forums or other such sites.
