I am stunned.. Just for kicks I tried it on a different TV with a S-Video cable as opposed to a composite cable and it works fine.

Hummm... used the S-Video cable on the first TV and that worked so I turned the cable from HDTV to TV and it works fine.

OMG! It was set a higher resolution than my hdtv could handle..  

Nevermind...
