Sound, No Video With Hdmi -> Dvi-d

Hello,

I have a February 2k8 made Elite. I used a HDMI->DVI-D cable to connect the console successfully to my Dell 2005FPW and played for nearly 25 hours of Mass Effect.

However, since today morning, my monitor goes into stand by the moment I plug the cable in. The console boots into the dashboard as usual. I tried a bunch of stuff until I got picture one more time before it died again.

I changed over cables to the composite connection and I get a picture. But no go when I use the HDMI->DVI-D cable.

Any tips? I assume it's not the GPU since the GPU->HANA route seems to be clear.

What could be the problem?

I tried the Y + RT trick and no joy there.
