Hi!
As my previous xbox 360 had a Rrod, i purchased a elite recently and connected it to my Onkyo AV receiver via the HDMI cable in and a HDMI to DVI cable out to my screen. As first i only played games and saw hd-dvd, no problem... But them, when i tried to see a classic dvd on the HD-DVD driver like before, all the color were screwed: Black became white and blue became something like pink  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) . It even didn't came back to normal when returning to the dashboard (same color problem). i first thought it was a problem with the Onkyo, so i connected directly the HDMI to DVI from my elite to my screen: Same problem!
So now i'm returning to a classic VGA cable.
What is strange is that the cable works fine with any other HDMI source and render the image in 1920x1080, except for the Elite.
By the way, my tv DVI port is DVI-D
Please help me as this screen only accept to render 1920x1080 on the DVI port  and i would like to profite of the greatest quality of the image (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) .
