ok i have an xbox 360 premium.. i recieved for audio video repair... when i recived it the audio/video port on the xbox was very badly mangled...
the A/V port on the bax basically looked like some one ripped the video cable out of the box, shredding the A/V port to the 360....
here's my problem...
all the connector pins to the A/V port on the consol were still intact in the port itself... what i did was take apart the A/V cable to expose the connector pins in the cable, then i just tried to hard wire the A/V cable connector pins (which i think is an HDMI cable) to the connector pins on the consols A/V port itself...
now when i taped everything off and pluged it back in, i still had the same problem... no audio or video...
the consol starts up just fine... four green light and everything... it'll even start up any game i own but no audio or video...
here's the wierd thing...
when your consol is hooked up and turned on... if you unplug the video (yellow) jack from the tv, the xbox gives you a four flashing red rings error, which we all know means the audio or video isn't properly connected...
well when i hooked up and pluged in this consol i'm working on it started up fine with no audio or video, but when i unpluged the video jack i got the four flashing red rings... which tells me that i must have hard wired the A/V cable correctly because the xbox reconizes the signal....
but y no audio or video?... if the cable i hard wired will send the signal of the cable being connected y wont it send the audio and video with it?... this doesn't make sense to me at all...
is there certain pins i need to connect that just send the audio and video?... was i not suppossed to connect all the pins?... help me please..
