Left Speaker Has A Lot Of Static
« on: March 28, 2008, 11:14:00 AM »

I have tried 3 different cables:

VGA HD
YPbPr
S-Video

I tried on 2 different TV's, and it's all the same .. The left speaker is putting out a lot of static ..

Is there a tutorial available to fix this problem? I searched the forums but couldn't find anything ..

*Bump*

I have done the X-Clamp Replacement on this console as well, and that didn't help the problem .. I have been searching for weeks, and I have still not found a fix, Is there anyone that can help? Or at least point in the right direction?

Your white audio jack is going bad. See if there's oxidation or rust on the metal parts.

No it's not the audio jack ..

I have 2 360's and i used the same cable, and the same TV .. And there's only problems with the left speaker with xbox #2 , and there was no rust or oxidation from what I could see on the jack .. But thanks for the input though ..

I have been googling, and searching and I still haven't found a fix yet, I may try the penny mod if anything maybe that will help ..
