umm heres a trick when you open you xbox try to wiggle the gpu and the cpu if it does then it's a x-clamp problem...
i got mine to work last night but i didn't use all them parts at all...all i did was take out the x-clamp and the black part on the x-clamp i took that off and wrap up a penny with electric tape and a cut another part of tape to stick it on the mother board.then i place the wrap up penny on the tape to make it stick,then i place the x-clamp back on...if you getting a 3 red light you need to check your code first...This code 0020 is what i did to fix the x-clamp part..(i also replace my thermal compound too) Then i got a code 0102 i just wrap penny on the rams using either 2 or 3 but i used 3...My 360 fan is running fast but for an hour of game playing my xbox stayed cool and not hot at all...hope this help..
