Nec Plasmasync Px42vp1a, Rgb Connections
« on: January 23, 2008, 08:40:00 PM »

I have a NEC plasmasync monitor that I've been using as a TV slash everything. I just got a 360 off ebay and it sometimes has no video but that's not the problem I want to know about. I tried hooking up the component cable part to the monitor and it doesn't come in right so I put it back on the composites and it was fine. I did notice right above the rgb ports there looks like there's an h-sync and v-synch port. Could this be the problem and is there a way to fix it? See model number above, I've tried but can't find much info on it. Other ports on the monitor include s-video, vga and dvi but I think this monitor is only 480p so how much difference am I going to notice if I get a cable or an adapter to use one of those? Thanks.
