Elite Stuck On 480 With Hdmi Can't Select Higher?!?

Hi,

I have an brand new Xbox 360 Elite,

When I connect it using the HDMI cable I can only select up to 480 in the settings screen. Not higher.

With the composite cable it goes up to 1080p.

I have tested it with other TV's and other hdmi cables but it always stays stuck at 480 sad.gif sad.gif

Anyone have an idea what might be the cause of this?   blink.gif  blink.gif  uhh.gif

Might just be a glitch... try this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911059

If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.  I would contact MS for service, as you said you have already tried different cables and TVs...
