The methods for fixing that kind of problem are far too expensive and technically difficult.

basically you'd need to open up your TV and tweak the "Service" settings... either you know how to do this because you're a TV repair person (and since you asked this question I'm going to assume you're not) or you hire someone to do it for you which can cost anywhere from $300 to $600 (those services are usually reserved for repairing high end/expensive HDTVs)... in which case you'd be better off just buying a new TV.
