I have a question for you guys, and I'm sorry if it sounds a little n00bish. I have two HDTVs in my house, one is a Sony 32" LCD and the other is a WEGA CRT HDTV. This WEGA has everything from composite to HDMI (excluding VGA), and has resolutions of 480p, 720p, and 1080i. This isn't a widescreen TV, so I get those annoying black bars in 720p and 1080i. If I were to get the VGA cable for my Xbox 360, and got a good VGA to Component converter, would it be possible for my Xbox 360 to run at 1280x1024 over component? That way, I'd be able to use the entire screen, and run at a resolution higher than 480p. Has anyone ever tried this? Thanks for all your help guys!
